Showreel Producer - Sebastian Hilger
After a long time of being passionate about film, Sebastian started producing his own first projects as a producer in 2003. He took several internships with light and producing gear rental agencies and started studying theater, film and television studies at the University of Cologne in 2005.
Together with other students he worked on many short films. Within the scope of the long film project AYUDA he founded the „footstep“-film production company. Ever since he has been working as producer, camera man, cutter and lightning technician on fictional films, remittance works, image films and documentations within the conception, production and postproduction of the projects.
While studying, Sebastian worked for the theater „Studiobühne Köln“ as a technician and manages the department „Unifilm“ of the University of Cologe. Through tutoring and workshops at his department Sebastian thought other students how to work within the field of film.
After graduating in 2011 he started studying directing at the film school in Ludwigsburg. There worked on the film TIM SCHRÖDER UND DAS ENDE ALLER TAGE, DIE WELT DA DRAUSSEN, MARDER and his graduate movie WIR SIND DIE FLUT.
